Zampe Freeze Dried Meals Are Now Made in Singapore, and What’s New
Share
Quick Take
🧊 Zampe’s freeze dried meals are now fully made in Singapore, have moved from slider pieces to pop sized cubes, and include two new protein options, Pork and Beef.
The meals remain complete and balanced, made with 100% human grade ingredients, and suitable for long term daily feeding.
The most noticeable change is easier portioning, while the overall feeding approach stays the same.

What you’ll notice when you open a pack
The most noticeable difference is during portioning.
The pieces are more uniform, which makes measuring simpler.
What has stayed the same
What Zampe stands for has not changed.
Zampe has always been formulated as a complete and balanced meal, meant to be fed on its own as a main diet. Zampe follows a clear sourcing philosophy across the brand.
All ingredients are 100% human grade and fresh, the same quality that would land on our own dining tables. There are no rendered meals and no by products used. Zampe is also grain and gluten free, as it has always been.
If Zampe has been part of your dog’s routine and is working well, nothing about these updates changes how it is fed.
From sliders to pops 🧊
Previously, Zampe’s freeze dried meals came in flatter slider pieces.
The new pops are smaller and more evenly sized. Each pack contains roughly 50 pops.
For main meals, the pops can be crumbled into smaller bits and mixed with water. They can also be sprinkled over your dog’s current food if that suits how you feed.

What made in Singapore means
Zampe is now entirely made in Singapore.
Singapore is known for strict standards around food safety and the import of raw ingredients, including meat. Local food manufacturing operates under close regulatory oversight, with strong emphasis on hygiene, sourcing, and quality control.
Zampe is produced in a facility that places a strong focus on cleanliness and quality throughout the process. Producing locally also shortens the feedback loop. Issues can be identified and addressed more quickly, and stock planning becomes more stable compared to relying on overseas production and shipping.
The recipes and ingredient standards remain the same. The change is in where the food is produced, not what goes into it.
New protein options 🍖
This gives dog owners more options to work with over time.
With the introduction of Pork and Beef, Zampe’s freeze dried range now covers a wider spread of commonly fed proteins, beyond Chicken, Salmon, and Duck.
Some dogs do best staying on one protein long term, while others respond better to rotation.

Pricing and regular feeding
Zampe is priced at $39 per pack.
For households feeding freeze dried meals regularly or planning ahead, there is also a bundle of three packs priced at $108.
Zampe’s pricing is not the result of lower ingredient quality or reduced standards. Because the meals are produced locally and directly by the brand, many of the usual costs associated with imported products are removed, including layers of middlemen, overseas shipping, import handling, and customs related fees.
As a result, Zampe is priced around 20% to 30% lower than many of the freeze dried brands commonly sold in Singapore. The lower price point comes from those cost savings, which are passed on to consumers.
Transitioning to Zampe
As many pets have sensitive stomachs, a gradual transition is recommended when introducing Zampe or changing proteins.
From Day 1 to Day 3, feed one quarter Zampe mixed into your pet’s usual meal.
From Day 4 to Day 6, increase this to half Zampe with half of the usual food.
From Day 7 to Day 9, feed three quarters Zampe.
By Day 10, your pet should be fully adjusted and eating Zampe as their main meal.
During this period, observe appetite, stool consistency, and overall comfort before progressing further.
FAQs
💧 How much water should I add to Zampe?
There is no fixed amount.
Different dogs prefer different textures. Some like their food wetter, while others prefer it drier.
A good starting point is adding enough water to create a soft, pasty texture that is easy for your dog to pick up and eat. You can then adjust based on your dog’s preference.
🥩 Why is the ingredients list so short?
Zampe keeps its ingredients list short so owners can clearly understand what they are feeding.
The meals meet AAFCO’s complete and balanced standard without relying on synthetic vitamins or minerals.
There are no artificial preservatives, gelling agents, or colouring added.
💰 Why is Zampe priced lower than many other freeze dried brands?
Zampe is made locally and produced directly by the brand, which removes many of the costs associated with imported products. This includes overseas shipping, import handling, customs fees, and additional middlemen.
Those cost savings are reflected in the final price, without reducing ingredient quality or standards.
🧊 Did the recipe change when Zampe moved to pops?
No.
The change is in the shape and size of the pieces, not the ingredients or formulation.
